Dr Arthur Cheung

Dr Arthur Cheung graduated from The University of Melbourne Medical School in 2000. He commenced his specialist anaesthetic training in 2006 at the Austin Hospital. During his training he gained experience from various hospitals across Victoria and United Kingdom. In 2011, he completed his provisional fellowship at The Mercy Hospital for Women and Monash Medical Centre.

He currently holds public appointments as a Visiting Specialist Anaesthetist at Austin Hospital, Box Hill Hospital and Casey Hospital. He enjoys working in a wide spectrum of clinical anaesthetic specialties, such as Maxillofacial/Dental, Orthopaedic, ENT, Urology, Paediatric, Obstetric, Colorectal, Hepatobiliary, Neurosurgery, Thoracic and Plastic/Reconstructive surgery. He is a mentor for many anaesthetic trainees across his public posts and volunteers bi-annually at the airway teaching workshops with Eastern Health. He regularly attends quality assurance meetings and is an active participant of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program under Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).

He has also obtained clinical privileges at various private hospital networks including Epworth, St. Vincent’s, Healthscope, Ramsay, St John of God and HealtheCare.
